The Japan Future Scholarship Program is a non-refundable financial aid program aimed at supporting recent high school graduates attending universities, junior colleges, or vocational schools.
Overview
Our philosophy behind the Japan Future Scholarship is that youth who have overcome adversity and aspire to educate themselves to work to improve society are a precious resource, and that our society should invest in their future through supporting their education. We hope to empower and encourage those youths who have experienced hardship, whether that be a separation from a parent either through death or divorce, living under foster care, or in a household receiving welfare protection, who desire to continue their education beyond high school to learn in order to contribute to society. Recipients will be chosen based primarily on a holistic process
